Tab Introduction
Reproductive health is a state of complete physical, mental, emotional and social wellbeing in matters relating to sexual and reproduction function.
Reproductive Health addresses holistic wellbeing in all matters relating to the reproductive system at all stages of life in both women and men. In recent years, remarkable changes have occurred in the practice to include a broader view of women’s health, involving preventive, promotive, socio-economic and cultural aspects of health, in line with WHO definition of health and the Millennium Development Goals. Obstetrics and Gynecology is a clinical specialty in medicine that has mainly centred on diseases and curative care of women.
