Introduction
Internal medicine is a discipline encompassing the study and practice of health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis and treatment of adolescents and adults of all ages. Intrinsic to this discipline are the application of scientific methods of problem solving, decision making and attitude of humane caring driven by professional behavior.
