Introduction
Radiology and Imaging is the study of radiation and other waveforms in the management of disease and health problems. It is a medical specialty that is growing rapidly. In almost all the universities in East and Central Africa, this programme runs for four years so as to cater for the broad areas covered. This specialty is technologically advancing astronomically, and to keep at par with the new knowledge post graduate training is fundamental.
Course Duration
The Master of Medicine in Radiology and Imaging programme, M.Med (RAD), shall normally extend over a period of four academic years; and not more than eight years, unless the Senate approves otherwise.
Award of Degree
The M.Med (RAD) Degree shall be awarded to those candidates who successfully complete the programme as herein outlined.
