School of Medicine hosts a collaboration team from USA and Chile

Dr. Julia Songok, Dean School of Medicine hosted a collaboration team from USA and Chile for a courtesy call on 26^th April 2023. The guests were; Ryan Ernst MD, Britt Guest MD, Peter Vandersteenhoven ER Resident, Prof. Amita Sudhir, Austin Lee MD, and Pabb Aguilera MD. The focus of the visit was to finalize on the development of a new Master of Medicine curriculum in Emergency Medicine. The lead faculty from the School of Medicine for this process is Dr. Simiyu Tabu. Aspects of visiting professor positions, virtual teaching, student scholarships, and potential for research were discussed. We look forward to continued mutual collaboration with refined deliverables.
